Lawn mowing FREAKS

I am baffled by the obsession with lawn mowing. We get a nice day, and no matter what the length of the lawn is, people get this notion that they SHOULD be out mowing. "Ah, geez Jim. Your grass has to be a quarter of an inch long. You need to take care of that before it gets out of control." OUT OF CONTROL!!!!

BRRRRRrrrrrrrchuggachuggaBRRRRrrrrrRRRRRRRrrrrr KACHUNK (as they run over a twig, a stone, a dead mouse, their child, whatever...)

Did anyone tell them that Sunday is for sleeping in? When people decide to mow the lawn, NOBODY gets to sleep in.

"Everybody likes soft serve, dripping down in the June sun" -Mike Doughty

It is yet another lazy day...even more lazy than usual having pulled a muscle yesterday. Tomorrow is Cherie's bachelorette party and a trip to Halifax for your truly. Strippers? I don't think so, but it would certainly be funny.

I have to remember to get batteries for the camera...

...and alcohol

I graduate Monday but I am not going. I hate some traditions. Plus I feel as though I just graduated (it has only been two years). Funny thing is, people keep getting mad at me for it. "You and Matt going to graduation?" "No." "OH MY GOD WHY NOT??"

I have committed a crime by not wanting to put on a stupid hat and gown, sit for three hours watching people walk across the stage who a) I don't care about b) Will probably never see again c) really don't care if I see them again or not.

Of course there are people I like, but I don't feel the need to watch them walk across a stage with pomp and ceremony. Wooo.
